The Glasgow Art Club >> Glasgow | Alternative Wedding Photography
This wedding has been featured on Braw Brides: FULL POST
You would be mistaken to think I solely document creative outdoorsy, country weddings. Whilst, I do my fair share of traipsing about in the Scottish Highlands, I love stylish urban city weddings in equal measures. What it comes down to is the couple. Location and venue provide the backdrop. A venue says something about a couple's personality. All that said, what matters most is the couple: the love they share; their connection; the future to one another they pledge.
Johnny + Stacie are inherently off-beat but in a thoroughly uncontrived way. Both University professors, they have a deep passion for their literary specialisms. Their wedding at The Glasgow Art Club was punctuated with meaningful nods to their academic roots and shared intellectual pursuits which they pulled off in a light-hearted, creative manner. Prior to their ceremony, they opted to have a first look before making their way to Primal Roast for a coffee. This was the first I've documented so I shared in their nerves. They made it easy by allocating plenty of time to allow them to really, truly be present in those private moments. This wedding, for all intents and purposes, was an alternative affair to suit an alternative couple. I hope you relish in their wedding photos as much as I did in sharing their day in real-time.
