Guardswell Farm Wedding >> Perthshire | Alternative Wedding Photographer
This wedding has been featured on Braw Brides: FULL POST
Let's give an arms wide open welcome to the new kid on the block - Guardswell Farm. Anna and her team have created a stylish design orientated venue. They've combined it with the farm setting exceptionally well. Guardswell Farm feels fresh. It feels like home. It's in my top five Scottish wedding venues.
The focus of Saturday 12th August wasn't on the beautiful Perthshire setting. It was on Rebecca and Tom. They're one of these written in the stars kind of couples. Just as Guardswell felt like being at home; being with them felt like being with the best of friends. This beaming twosome screamed true love. Genuine compatibility. A deep comfort in their own skins. If I could live their day over and over again, I would. I'm sure they would too.
A special mention has to go to Fiona Wallace of Bramble and Thyme Flowers who was responsible for styling Guardswell as well as making the bouquets and button holes. I've tried to include a smattering of her handiwork. This woman is exceptionally talented.
Following on from their personal ceremony, the pair mingled with friends and family on the sprawling lawn. Beetroot and Chocolate did a fine job keeping the hunger away with their delicious appetizers and drinks. The wedding party bought into my suggestion of heading into a field of wild flowers to do some alternative group shots. As for what happened next, it certainly involved a fire pit, dancing under the stars, climbing a hill and lots and lots of laughter from the lovely Rebecca, Tom and their guests.
