A wedding featuring Nick Bruce and His Blinding Lights and Cinemate films...
Thanks to the quick wit of hairdresser David Corbett and positive energy of the group, Louise's bridal preparations were full of fast paced riotous laughter. The morning was a perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Now, it has to be said that Louise is a lady who appreciates luxury: once in her Vera Wang dress and red heeled Christian Louboutin shoes, we jumped into the Bentley to meet James at Alloway Parish church. Following on from their ceremony, the 77 members strong wedding contingent took a jaunt over the Brig O Doon bridge. Just after the group shot, the rain arrived. Heavy rain. Torrential. Louise + James didn't care. Once back at the venue, we jumped outside for some creative photos before drying off to enjoy the cocktail hour. The Frazer Mitchell jazz trio played whilst the couple received the hugs and well wishes from their guests. Speeches. Dinner. BOOM...we hit the green. Let off smoke bombs. Police arrived. Something about a high profile owner. Whatever. We had a blast and got killer shots. Bye bye flashing blue lights. Hello Nick Bruce and His Blinding Lights. The six-piece showband were big on personality and even bigger on vocals. Their horn section and eccentric mass-ups enticed the most reluctant of feet to the dance floor. They absolutely nailed this wedding gig. The evening ended with an impressive fireworks display.
