Edinburgh Elopement with a Texan Cowboy
Weddings, no matter the size, setting and time are fabulous events. Witnessing the uniting of two souls in marriage is a wonderful experience. That said, there’s something quite unique about elopements. As for Scotland elopements, well…they’re the best! I’m biased of course. As a Scotland wedding photographer, I’d say that Scotland based weddings, particularly elopements, are especially memorable because of our scenery, flexibility of timings and immensely talented independent suppliers.
Perhaps you’ve stumbled across this post because you’re considering eloping to Scotland. If you’re looking for hard and fast reasons to persuade you of the virtues of a Scotland elopement, here’s two.
First of all, check out ‘12 Reasons Why You Should Elope to Scotland’
Secondly, have a gander at Diane + Jim’s Edinburgh elopement. They travelled over from Texas to marry at Dalhousie Castle. With an ocean between, they got Timeless White, a wedding planning service to help them source their suppliers and ensure the whole experience was stressless. After their ceremony at Dalhousie, we made our way into Edinburgh city centre for some aimless wander, drinks and food. Welcoming to the core, they made Brian (of Brian Scott films) and I part of their day. In that way, I suppose they ended up with a couple of gate-crashers.
