Summer Boturich Castle wedding with Outfits from Hugo Boss and Melle Cloche

Fergus and Georgia’s glorious summer wedding at the impressive Boturich Castle was a dream from start to finish. Before we head to the day itself, let’s take a moment to consider the brilliance of Boturich Castle as a wedding venue. It’s a historic castle with extensive grounds on the banks of the iconic Loch Lomond and its legendary backdrop. Boturich Castle sits right on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and is an exclusive use venue. As a ‘bespoke’ venue, each couple has creative freedom to cultivate their own vibe. It’s worth noting it’s the only private castle on Loch Lomond which capacity to host up to 200 guests. It’s worth noting that Boturich Castle is a private home and therefore has no on-site overnight accommodation. Nevertheless, the Trossachs is home to lots of beautiful, welcoming towns & villages with many different options for accommodation. Added bonus is that Glasgow is also only 35 mins away by road or rail.

Georgia’s wedding dress by Rolling in Roses from Melle Cloche, one of Glasgow’s most established and premier bridal boutiques. Synonymous with bridal fashion and individuality, Melle Cloche helped her find the perfect dress as well as accessories. Fergus’ Hugo Boss was stylish yet classic. The pair looked effortlessly cool in their outfits. The couples’ family and friends complimented their vibe perfectly. En mass, it was a sophisticated, elegant crowd who felt blessed to be with inspiring people, in a wonderful venue and enjoying the absolute best of Scottish weather.

The entire day was super cool, super chilled and super fun. Georgia and Fergus’ main aim who to enjoy their day with their friends and family. The photography had a strong editorial edge but not at the expense of removing the couple. The photography, whilst editorial, was mostly candid. Georgia and Fergus made clear that they didn’t want to waste time in front of a camera and would rather be enjoying being an active part of their wedding day. This suited us perfectly because that’s what we’re all about. We want to create outstanding photography that reflects the genuine atmosphere of the day rather than creative something contrived and fake. The added bonus was that they booked our favourite wedding band: Killer City Sound.
